"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

The Roosevelt Institution at Rutgers University

Our Mission: To build a progressive future through innovative interdisciplinary policy work. The students of the Roosevelt Institution at Rutgers Univeristy contribute to this mission through working together on domestic and international policy issues in a colloborative framework that brings our academic education into the policy arena.

The Roosevelt Institute at Rutgers University is growing rapidly. We now have four centers on a variety of issues and a number of sub-centers that are specific to both issues and regions.

Please feel free to write and comment on our blog, http://riatrutgers.wordpress.com/, which will be up very soon, thanks.

There is a weekly policy meeting in room 408 of the Center for Law and Justice. New members are always welcome! Please contact James Lamond(jdlamond@yahoo.com) if you would like to submit any of your work to the Roosevelt Institute.

Our Centers:

The Center on Business Policy and Economic Issues

The Center on International Relations and Institutions

The Center on Global Security and Human Rights

The Center on Social and Gender Issues
